Atomik Tangerine was originally named H.A.C.K. which was an acronym for all of our founding members, Hailey, Alan, Christian, and Karoline. This name didn't last very long and we all agreed to call ourselves Atomik Tangerine. Recently We've added Gael Gonzalez as a second guitarist and subsequently lost a founding member, Alan Mejia, our bassist, but we are looking forward to our future shows and are confident that we can adapt our songs to fill in the shoes that he left behind. Starting in October 2023, we didn't have much, and we definitely didn't have a set vision. Our songs are a mix of our varied music tastes, Vocals and lyrics heavily inspired by L7, bratmobile, and concrete blonde, Bass is inspired by the early 80's punk explosion, Guitar inspired by Paramore, and the drums heavily inspired by Green Day and Dead Kennedies. With these styles clashing together our songs feel like our own.
