Hello my name is Evan Cross. I am a musician/songwriter. I have played in multiple bands and am now focusing on my solo project. I love making songs whether they are good or bad. Most of the songs I make in my own time are forgotten the day after they are created, but the select few that stick with me through the week end up getting more attention and become part of my permanent material. This trend started my sophomore year when I was far from mature. Match unorthodox lyrics with no sense of music theory and you get a good sense of my early musical portfolio. I can’t say I have changed much… but I have increased my songwriting/musician skills. A last note on my creating process, I always keep in mind that nothing needs to be perfect, nothing to needs to sound “right”, but everything needs to show some part of me. It takes mental discipline to stay creative and I think laziness is the big killer of new art/artists.
I titled my debut LP “The Future of Rock n’ Roll”. I purposely chose this name to question what the future of Rock n’ Roll really means. Is Rock n’ Roll dead? If not, what is the present equivalent? Either way…I have taken it upon myself to create THE FUTURE OF ROCK N ROLL. This LP is filled with a variety of genres, sounds, and feelings. I personally love when an album has a bunch of demo tracks and so I stuffed this LP with raw, first take tracks. As for the genres, most of what you hear is similar to what I was consuming musically at the time. I know I said I love raw tracks, but I also love weird noises and playing on my keyboard. Along with weird noises, my favorite part is the variety of feelings scattered across the LP. Each song has its own special world and I love it.
The state of music, or “the scene,” currently is disappointing and has been for quite some time. Boring overweight 60 year olds with mohawks calling for circle pits in a room full of 10 people, dancing is dead while crowd killing thrives, bands sound identical/predictable, and not to mention the lack of venues. I attend shows to have fun and I make music for fun. I want to make each of my live shows as fun as possible and hope that I can relate to my audience through my songs. I advise anyone who has read this far to start your own project. Do your part in the constant fight to keep music original and fun. That being said I hope that my songs can inspire people to create new and interesting material. I have hope for the future of music and faith in aspiring artists.

Words We Meant to Say
Split Single - February 4, 2026 - 5 min

This split release showcases the raw and personal feelings that are often times swept under the rug. Evan Cross and Owen Reyes were not afraid to throw out their dirty laundry for everyone to see. Both tracks share a feeling similar to nostalgia that will keep you coming back for more. This split tests every boundary of the current music scene and holds current artists to a new standard of creativity. This is only the beginning for the future of music.
1. Look Away by Owen Reyes
2. She's 26, I'm 21 by Evan Cross
P.M.A.
EP - January 31, 2026 - 6 min

This 3 song EP is jam packed with positivity, emotion, and thoughtful words. Major smiles may occur after just one listen. I am tired of seeing the music community turn inwards on itself and so I decided to share how I feel on this EP. I want the music scene to stay alive forever and I want to see people working together to do so. Any group of bands or musicians that feel the need to stay distant from their audience really bug me. The people who take inspiration from either my music or live performance are those I cherish the most. That being said I wrote this EP as my contribution towards a better tomorrow for all of my generation.
My name is Evan Cross and I approve this message.
